Education Ministry Clarifies Announcement Date for 2009 Generation Tawjihi Results

Khaberni - The Ministry of Education is heading towards announcing the results of the eleventh-grade exams for the 2009 generation students, as part of the first segment of the new two-year General Secondary Education system "Tawjihi", amid anticipation from more than 133,000 students and their families for the official announcement date of the results.

The ministry, according to statements from the Examinations Department and its spokesperson Mahmoud Hayasat, confirmed that the Tawjihi results for the 2009 generation will be announced during the second half of August, and before August 20, 2026, after completing the correction, verification, and final review tasks.

The specialized teams in the ministry continue to work on the final stages of preparing the results, in preparation for their official accreditation and making them available to students through the approved digital channels upon the decision to announce them.

4 subjects make up 30% of the Tawjihi average

Academic track students from the 2009 generation had taken the joint exams during the period from July 23 to July 30, which included four main subjects: Arabic language, English language, Jordanian history, and Islamic education.

The results of these subjects constitute 30% of the final average for the General Secondary Certificate within the new system, while the students complete the remaining percentage in the twelfth grade through four specialized subjects chosen according to the academic field.

The results of the current phase represent an important milestone in the academic journey of the students, before moving on to the second year and completing the specialized subjects that will contribute to determining the larger part of the final average for the General Secondary Education.

How do students access the results?

The Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, has designated digital channels for querying the results as soon as they are officially accredited, among them the "Sanad" app and the website dedicated to the General Secondary results.

Students who have activated their digital identity through the "Sanad" app can access their results after logging in, while other students can inquire about their results by entering their seat number and date of birth.

The anticipation of the results for the 2009 generation follows the announcement of the results for the 2008 generation on August 10, 2026, which saw an overall pass rate of 65.3%, according to the announced figures.

The Ministry of Education is expected to finalize the official date for announcing the 2009 generation results within the specified period, after completing all audit and review processes, in preparation for making them available to students electronically.
